Can anybody show me the calculation or tell 12m span composite Timber and Steel I beam How much load it can carry if I use 3(390mm c/c) I beams with IPE 360 x 170 x 58.20 In each axial of bridge It means using of 6 such beams. The top will be 100mm th. 198mm width and 4 m. length timber with all other necessary support.

9.1m & 8.0 m long prestressed poles are in common use for power lines. We have seen that numbers of poles are tilted in due course of time, & the L. T. Power lines are inclined, causing accidents. Civil engineers do not make the foundation of these poles. As per current practice & ISI Specifications 1.5 m depth of pole is
being embedded in ground. i think that unequal settlement , wind load ,pull of electric wires , not proper compaction of filling of foundation pit , etc. are the few
reasons of this foundation failure .
What should be the remedy? in my opinion the 1.5 m of pole from base which should be embedded in 1:3:6 plain cement concrete should be kept rough ,even iron rod spikes can be provided in base. 60 cm from base end , if a hole is provided in PCC pole , so that a monolithic joint may develop between pole & the foundation concrete .. it needs ISI code revision , hence I am posting my suggestion for open discussion
