azam ali says:

what is the mixture of M30 grade concrete

Er. Raj M. Khan says:

It is also in this website posted by me; just search

DEEPAK THAPA says:

As per our design is come M35 with ISCODE 10262-1982
M35 ratio is come 1:1.2:2.2
Water 20.5 lit/50Kg
70%Aggraegate 20mm
30%Aggregrate 10mm
M30
1:1.32:2.5
Water 22.5 lit/50kg

sanjay kamathi says:

thank you very much sir,
this is very useful to all who are working in this areas

Rajesh kumar says:

thank u for ur kind information ,keep in touch sir.

prasad ch says:

In M35 slump increase 75mm to 125mm already admixtures are used as for Mix design

Er. Raj M. Khan says:

Question not clear

nikhil ranjan pal from west-bengal, April 30, 2012 at 21:20 PM says:

Dear Sir
this is very useful to us who have engaged in bridge and other concrete work. what is the function of admixture to get target mean strength

Er. Raj M. Khan says:

Admixture does not play roll in increasing the strength however some PC admixture can be used to increase strength by 2 to 3 Mpa

vivek says:

please give me the mix design of m40 using 6mm metal

Er ubaidullah says:

assalamu alaikum sir i hv seen ur method of solving mix design its fabulus sir jazaakalla hu khairrrr,,,,,,

jnm says:

the calculations are wrong. value of water content from table 2 is 186 litre (for 25-50mm slump). When the desirable slump is 50-75mm, water content should increase (& not decrease to 160 litre!)

Emdadul Haque says:

how to decide Percentage of 10mm and 20mm aggregate from total mass of aggregate?

LK Majhee says:

Can anyone please post the calculation of Mix Design M-55 (High slump and High Performance) using OPC 43/53 Grade and 10mm CA only. Use of Fly Ash is prohibited. Micro silica may be used.

B.B. Singh says:

Sir,
What is the Admixture role We can design mix without it……..

g.rajasekar says:

The admixture role is increase the workability and decrease the w/c ratio at time strength will be incerased

Niranjan Meena says:

Sir,
How much percentage variation allow for cement content & aggregate content in design mix.

sarvaiya jaydeepsinh says:

Thanks

DEEPAK THAPA says:

can any one provide me External footing design data

anil chauhan says:

dear sir

please tell us about load capacity of M-35 Mix Design as per IS 10262-2009
please tell us how much load it can bear

g.rajasekar says:

35 kn/m load will be bear

devi says:

Plain Cement Concrete 1:4:8 means What Garde

g.rajasekar says:

M10

mehboob shaikh says:

1:4:8 grade m5

Nalinda says:

what is the difference between grade 35 and grade 35A concrete ?

Pratap M. says:

Thank you Sir. I used to get confused when I discuss with local civil contractors since they are not aware of these calculations. They are used to talk in terms of volume ratios hence the calculations in A-8 column is very helpful.

Thank you very much again.
