Hello Experts:

I’m losing sleep over a serious matter which is narrated below:

My tenant has installed a flex printing machine on the first floor of my 3 storey RCC building. The RCC building was erected in 1964. The machine itself weighs 850 kgs.

So, I like to know whether it is safe to allow the machine to operate on the first floor. Besides, how much weight can such an RCC building withstand?

Thanking you in advance….

list the differences between a concrete specification and a concrete conformity

niki says:

Q) When examining a completed bend test, the angle of the bend was found to be 175 degree. The testing specification calls for the sample to have been formed through 180degree ?
1) the bends should be considered as failed.
2) they should be bent to 180 degree then re- examined.
3) they should be acceptable as the reduction in angle is due to materials spring back.
4) they should be rejected as the angle is not close enough to be acceptable.
