Is structure engineering troubling you?
Do you face problems in solving even the basic problems?
If yes then look no further as engineeringcivil.com along with Er. Gobind Khurana and Er. Abhimanyu has taken an initiative to help civil engineering students in structure related queries. We are thankful to Er. Gobind Khurana, Er. Abhimanyu and Vincent T. H. CHU for being a volunteer in helping other engineers in solving problems related to structure design in R.C.C and Steel.

Dear Sir, I am working on a residential project (G+6) as a structural engineer. I am confident about my structural engineering knowledge in dealing with building design, but I am finding it a bit difficult to asses the bearing capacity at the site. Could u pls suggest how should I judge it at site, and less expensive method for assessing the bearing capacity at site. Going for soil exploration and boring is a bit costly affair.
Thanks,
Sufiyan
dear sir,
i want to know about determination of relation between strength, deformation behaviour and water content of cohesive soils. any of you tell me this topic
sir , my project topic is geosynthetic reinforced soil structure.in which geosynthetic material geogrid provide for additional shear strength in soil . but problem is that which test should required to know strength of geosynthetic soil.
how do i explain results obtained in the laboratory on soil tests like moisture content, atterberg limits in my report
