Required Steel Bars

Once we get the full length of steel bars at sight, bar bender then cuts the long lengths into the required lengths. These required lengths are taken from the drawing and are then binded with the help of binding wires.

The following picture shows the steel bars cut as per dimensions required at the construction site.

Steel Bar

A steel bar as brought from the factory. This is the picture of steel bar before cutting down into required pieces. The normal length of this bar is 40 feet with a fold at 20 feet. Steel is the main stay when we talk about reinforced concrete. This adds to the strength of our building.

Staircase Steel and Shuttering

In this picture we can see how the staircase is made. We can see the slanting shuttering of the staircase and also the steel bars tied with each other. This is the ramp that forms the base of the staircase, once this is made, steps are made afterwards

Column Erection

This is the picture of a construction site where a column is being erected. Here reinforced concrete is being used with steel being shown at the top. This top steel will then be tied with the roof steel and a proper joint will be made.

Nominal Mix

This picture shows how nominal mix is being made at the construction site. In this method, the labor makes a pit with sand and cement and then add water by approximation.

This method is widely used in low cost and residential construction.
