Bitumen is a mixture of organic liquids that is black, highly viscous, sticky product used for paving roads, waterproofing products (used in sealing roofs). There are many tests which are conducted to check the quality of bitumen. Bitumen is very important component of many construction sites like roads, highways. Many tests are done to ensure the quality of bitumen. Some of these are given below :-
1. Bitumen Content
2. Ductility Of Bitumen
3. Penetration of Bitumen
4. Specific Gravity of Bitumen
5. Softening Point Of Bitumen
6. Flash And Fire Point Of Bitumen
7. The Marshall Stability of Bituminous Mixture

there are some tests that you did not write anything here. Could you please give some informations about “Loss on heating test , Spot test, Solubility test” ?

Dear Sir,
I dont know how to conduct the following tests:
1. Viscosity Test of Bit
2. Loss on heat test of Bit.
3. Solubility Test of Bit.
If you kindly send me it is procedure with update testing Tamplate.

we are requiring the kinematic viscosity of bitumen vg 30 grade,so we need the calibration of viscometer and procedure.
