      Firstly work out the actual length one bar including lapping, bends etc. and deducting cover. Then,
      L of bar X No. of bars X Wt. of bar Kg/Rmt. = Steel in Kgs.

    method of measurement for steel- firstly measured the actual length of bar in respect of different dia of bar. then you multiply the unit weight of each bars by this formula.0.00618xd^2. where d= dia of bar. Er.Alok singh.
